Maybe you simply want to become bilingual so you can meet more people and have good conversations. Either way, it’s a worthy goal and not as difficult as you might think.
Before we discuss some good morning quotes to give a friend or crush, let’s talk about a few basic rules to follow, so you will sound more natural.
1. Just like in English every sentence requires a subject and verb.
2. Adjectives come AFTER nouns, which is opposite of English. As in “orange shirt” in English becomes “shirt orange” in Spanish.
3. Plural adjectives must match plural nouns and singular adjectives must match singular nouns.
4. Adverbs are treated the same. You can make many adverbs using the end-phrase “mente” at the end of the word. As in “perfectamente”.
5. Add the phrase “no” to turn the sentence into a negative.
6. You can switch the verb and subject order and make it a question. Or add a question “tag word” at the end of a sentence, as in “______,¿Verdad?”

1. “Buenos Días”
Let’s start with the easiest expression, one meaning “Good morning.” You can also add a title or name after the expression for a more personal greeting.
2. “Muy buenos dias a todos”
This is a better quote for a small group of people, as it means “a very good morning to you all.”
3. “Cómo amaneció usted?”
This is a good question to get a conversation going, since it means “How is your morning going?”
4. “Buenos dias, mi amor. cada dia te amo mas!”
This phrase is a much better way of saying good morning, since it means “Good morning, my love. I love you more every day!”
5. “Buenos dias. Gracias por hacer que cada día sean los mas bonitos de mi vida.”
This is a romantic way of saying good morning, since it means “Thank you for making every day so far the most beautiful one of my life.” Of course, the personal nature of the quote makes it better for a relationship, not just a flirtation.
6. “Buenos dias. Dios te bendiga un fuerte abrazo.”
Adding onto the good morning, you have a saying of goodwill, “God bless you and a big hug to you.”
7. “Buenos dias. No hay mejor sensacion que despertar por la manana con una sonrisa y decir gracias dios mio por dejarme despertar esta manana.”
This is a nice, long expression to use since it implies a few sweet thoughts. Namely, “There is no better feeling than waking up every morning with a smile on my face and saying Thank God for another day of life.” This is a good expression to use on someone that you’re interested in but not currently dating.
8. ¡Buenos dias. Hace tiempo que no te veo!
This is a good morning salutation followed by a sweet assurance that you’ve been thinking about him. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen you!”
9. “Buenos dias. Eres guapo.”
A very blunt and cute way to tell a man you like him, since it means “Good morning. You are handsome.”
10. “Buenos dias. ¿Te invito a tomar algo?”
This expression is harmless but flirty. “Can I buy you a drink?”
11. “Buenos dias. Amos afuera a tomar aire fresco.”
Follow up a good morning salutation with the idea of “going outside to get some fresh air.”
12. “Buenos dias. Tienes buen gusto.”
Impress a man by telling him he has “good taste” and style.
13. Buenos dias. Me gusta tu sonrisa.”
Good morning followed by a wonderful compliment… “I like your smile!”
14. Buenos dias. ¿Cuándo te vuelvo a ver?
If you’re already dating or arranging to date, this expression fits nicely. “When can I see you again?”
15. “Buenos dias. Te amo.”
Keep it simple and say “I love you” after your good morning. Great way to say good morning to your boyfriend.
16. “Buenos dias. Busco una pareja de baile.”
This is a nice way of saying, “Good morning, I’m looking for a dance partner…maybe you?”
17. “Buenos dias. Tú tienes las llaves de mi corazón.”
If you’re already in a relationship, or going for cheesy but funny, then this line is gold. “Good morning. You have the keys to my heart.”
18. “Buenos dias. ¡Eres el hombre de mis sueños!”
A personal thing to say, so it works with your boyfriend. This means, “You are the man of my dreams.”
19. “Buenos dias. Dame un beso.”
Try this one first thing in the morning, preferably in bed. It means “Good morning…kiss me!”
20. “Buenos dias. Quiero llevarte a una cita.”
This one means “Good morning. I want to take you out on a date.” It’s best used for a boyfriend or someone you’re getting very close to, someone who would be delighted to go out with you.
Learning just a few Spanish phrases, or even better yet, the beginning rules of Spanish, is a great way to get to know somebody. You can impress them with your effort and show them you’re determined to be their friend. Who knows, maybe you’ll even go further and learn how to speak Spanish. This is a skill that will always be useful and knowing it will always endear you to someone who speaks the same language. Go for it!
